Back in Saddle Therapy and the Mustang Ambassador Program present an equine assisted therapeutic event for the military and their families – active, retired and transitioning.

This hands-on participatory exercise is tailored for military personnel and their family members is designed to foster self-discovery and wellness through equine connection. Participants will engage in several examples of equine therapies, horsemanship activities, and mindfulness practices.

Through guided interactions with horses, individuals will learn to develop a deeper understanding of themselves and the present moment. Each therapy will incorporate specific techniques aimed at enhancing communication skills, emotional regulation, and resilience. By establishing a bond with the horses, participants can explore and process their experiences in a highly supportive environment.
