The horsemanship skills clinic will provide essential elements of horsemanship communication using our herd of mustangs. Participants will learn the principles of natural horsemanship through online and round pen techniques.  After a review of horse personality types, participants will be partnered with a horse appropriate for their skill level.  The morning portion of the workshop will focus on learning online skills of the seven ground games of natural horsemanship; utilizing the phases of firmness involving timing and feel; and building an understanding of respect.  In the afternoon, we will explore round-pen reasoning as we use the ground games, off-line.  We will build on the essential elements of feel and timing as we explore impulsion.
